Her

Her is my first experiment in porcelain casting objects, inspired by the visual metaphors used in traditional dutch still lifes. I wanted to reference these paintings with a twist not only by changing the media to casting and photography, but also by refocusing the concepts of transient beauty and inevitable decay through a feminist lense rather than the historical context of Christian theology.
